أصدر رئيس مجلس الوزراء اللبناني سعد الحريري مذكرة إدارية قضت بإقفال جميع المؤسسات العامة التي تعمل ضمن دوام خاص يوم السبت بمناسبة عيد الميلاد المجيد لدى الطوائف الارمنية الارثوذكسية.
وبحسب موقع “ليبانون ديبايت”، رأت أوساط أرمنية في هذا القرار إجحافاً بحقها كطائفة تُعتبر جزءاً لا يتجزأ من نسيج المجتمع اللبناني، وذلك على اعتبار أن السبت هو في الأصل يوم عطلة لدى القطاع العام، وتمنت لو أن رئيس الحكومة اختار يوم عمل عادي بدلاً من يوم السبت ليشعر الأرمن بأن لهم حقوقاً في هذا البلد كغيرهم من الطوائف.
